Tom Kehr is Orlando-based documentary photographer who seeks to capture the essence of vibrant communities and diverse landscapes. As an artist, Tom is often drawn to the unique, the unnatural, and the unassuming, often seeking to portray his subjects from a new and novel perspective. Tom is also deeply committed to the Orlando arts community. He currently volunteers as a Photography Fellow at the Winter Park Crealde School of Art where he dedicates a bulk of his time educating students of all ages in the fundamentals of film photography and fine art printing in the darkroom. He also proudly serves on the Board of Directors for Orlando’s Downtown Arts District to support the vibrancy, accessibility, and economic development of Downtown Orlando through the arts.
While not photographing, Tom works as a business leader in the technology industry and holds a PhD in Engineering
from the University of Central Florida. Tom is also a certified Sake sommelier and has been known to compete in several amateur BBQ competitions.
